I first came to Word of Grace Fellowship on 12/11/22 after being invited by my mother Katie Evins. Pastor Oby called me the next day to follow up. I got SAVED on 12/12/22! Since then, my life has been peaceful. Before, I struggled with postpartum depression, I felt lost as a single mother of 2 boys, and I felt like a failure as I couldn’t start the master’s program in social work. Overall, I believe I am a good person but being good wasn’t enough. Since coming to Word of Grace Fellowship, learning the word, practicing the word, and having faith- I have found peace in my life. I have accepted things that I have no control over and let go of the should haves, would haves and could haves. I LET GO and LET GOD! I took a leave of absence from work for 7 months after having my second child. It was a struggle, but God supplied all my needs! I’ve learned that prayer works. On the other hand, you must put in the work. I am now employed, I have been obedient to God, coming to church, learning the word, and applying it to my life. There are many things I am learning about myself, there are many things that I continue to struggle with, but I am not alone in the fight! God has provided clarity in my life, understanding, strength and discipline.

I was blessed to be a Partner of this life-giving church for 15 years. It absolutely changed my life. I have been born-again since 1982 and I never knew the “why for my existence” until I connected with Word of Grace Fellowship. I walked into Word of Grace by accident (so I thought). I was on my way to another church and I thought Word of Grace Fellowship was the church I was trying to go to. I realize during the service that I was at the wrong church (so I thought). The Bible says that our steps are ordered by God and I know it was God that allowed me to walk through what I thought was the wrong door but God knew it was the right door. As I sat in the service I felt welcomed and the presence of God was there. Sometimes you feel uncomfortable when you’re at a church that you never heard of and don’t know anyone there. I never heard of Word of Grace Fellowship or Pastor Ernie Oby but I decided to stay the entire service because of what I felt, an atmosphere that was welcoming and from that day never stop going! In the fifteen years I was a Partner of Word of Grace Fellowship, eight of those years I was blessed to work as the Administrative Secretary for the ministry. The wisdom and teaching that comes out of this ministry, people pay hundreds of dollars to get. If you come with your heart open and expect to receive, you will receive everything you need to live a victorious life. I received healing and wholeness from childhood traumas, I suffered from very low self-esteem and no confidence in myself when I started coming, but because of the Word of God that is taught, I began to apply what I was learning to my life and I began to really grow spiritually. This ministry challenged me to stop making excuses and make adjustments. The Successful Christian Living classes allowed me to discover my true identity in Christ and walk in it. You will hear Pastor Oby make statements like “This ministry is committed to your success,” and it truly is. He also will make it hard for anyone say when they stand before God that they didn’t know truth. The truth of God’s Word is taught without compromise at Word of Grace Fellowship. Pastor Oby is a man of excellence and integrity and because I believe that there is impartation through association I have such a desire to operate with excellence and integrity in everything that I do. I realize all of the 15 years I sat under this ministry taking notes during the messages, reading handout that were given, (I still have and read 17 years later) God was preparing me to be a Pastor’s Wife and teaching me how to run my business with excellence and integrity. I learned through Word of Grace Fellowship that God will give you Grace to fulfill every assignment He has for you to do. Even though I am no longer a Partner of the Ministry, even when you move on, Word of Grace Fellowship and the partners will still cheer you on and are committed to praying for your success.

I was in a season of transition in my life in a ministry of 12yrs in 2015. God led me through a partner of Word of Grace Fellowship which asked me if I would attend a FFMA meeting. I first wanted to check out their Wednesday night service. I was impressed so I came back two weeks later to their Sunday service. Again, I was very impressed, and I felt God's Power and Presence in the service. When I walked through the door a woman greeted me with a big smile and a wonderful hug and love I felt was unbelievable. How I was greeted made me feel like I belonged there it was an amazing experience. Nine years later as a partner of the ministry I still experience the warm welcome and God's love. When I came to this ministry, I knew God sent me here to receive healing from some very detrimental things I had and was facing in my life at the time. I can truly say I received my healing, and HE used Worship, the Word, and the Love experience. I will be forever thankful for the obedience of the ministry to cultivate and create an environment for God to move. Pastor Oby will say this is a place of miracles! I have certainly experience God's miracle hand on my life. When I heard you will never have to face a battle by yourself, believe me it is not just a cliché it's the absolute truth I am a witness. The ministry will rally around you in prayer and support. Pastor Oby is a true man of God, loves his family, a leader of leaders, operate in excellence and integrity and the ministry operate in like manner. Sitting under his leadership. If you want to grow and excel, they make room for you to do so. Being a partner of this ministry my life has changed, I have discovered a lot of things my purpose, graces and giftings, and more that is on my life. When you take on the church's anointing and impartation of the ministry. Before I came to Word of Grace Fellowship I had never heard of this ministry before, I called it: A Well Kept Secret! Why because what is coming out of this ministry the world needs to know and experience.

First I give God All of the praise and glory!! I was blessed with new SUV today! I’m excited not for the car. I’m in tears because God showed me favor! I didn’t have to put any money. Becoming a partner at Word of Grace Fellowship has been a blessing to me and others around me because I’ve been blessed to be able to bless others. I thank God for blessing you to be my pastor. I asked God to choose the vehicle that he wants for me and he did just that. I can go on and on. To God be the glory. Thank you Pastor Oby for just being a vessel and teaching me how to obey God.

 I invited my family to worship service and they loved it. Since coming, they haven’t stop talking about the church and their experience. Here are some of the things that they said, “How loving and welcomed they felt; how they felt the presence of God when everyone began to worship and pray; and how powerful Pastor Graves spoke when God used her to speak prophetically to the church during worship. Last but not least; they loved how you (Pastor Oby) taught the word of God from the Bible. My sister-in-law kept saying, “He’s teaching.” They’re planning on visiting again.

My son (Randy) suffered a mild stroke and was rushed to Froedtert Hospital. While in ICU, a MRI was done which showed that he was in the middle of facing a more severe stroke or heart attack. A Prayer Alert was sent out to the intercessors of WOGF to believe for wholeness and that all would be well in his physical body.
The next morning his vitals were normal, his speech was better, he was beyond the danger zone of having a major stroke or heart attack and was released to go home later that day.
They’re expecting him to make a full recovery with his speech. I thank God for you Pastor and everyone at Word of Grace Fellowship for their love and prayers. Thank you all so much for never allowing me to fight any battle alone. Hallelujah to God. I thank God for my Church Family, “A Life Giving Church” is what we are! Word of Grace Fellowship changed my life. I was invited to the church picnic in the summer of 2015 when my son was just 8 months old. I was invited to service the next day. I came to visit and have been there ever since. I didn’t grow up in church and didn’t know much about the Lord. But I knew immediately I was in the right place. I was introduced to Jesus a few months before coming to Word of Grace and it was the perfect place for me to grow. I attended a different ministry prior to coming to Word of Grace, but noticed that my growth had sort of become stagnant. I’ve learned so much and have truly seen God working in and through my life! There is absolutely no doubt that God is in this place. I can’t imagine where or what my life would be like if I had never come. I’ve seen miracles take place in my life and the lives of others, experienced deliverance, gotten answers to tough questions, experienced healing beyond belief, learned who I am in Christ (what that means and why that matters) and I even met my husband here 💕. Thank God for the true transformation that Word Of Grace and Pastor Oby brought into my life! When I came to Word of Grace I was still hurting from a church where the pastor suddenly resigned and closed the church. I was hurting, broken, and not exactly sure sure of my next steps. By the power of God, Pastor Oby and the precious folks at Word of Grace poured into my life, loved on me, taught me, helped to activate the gifts of the Spirit in my life, and even married me and my wife Gail. For the first time, I needed to plan for my life and that did not include my husband, but first I needed help. I called my pastor from my hometown. Carl and I knew Pastor Oby prior to marriage. He taught Discipleship Classes at a previous church. His teaching gave us a strong foundation. I left a message and Pastor called me back immediately. Pastor Oby is a man of God. He would be unapologetically in your face with God’s word. He called and said he heard the hurt in my voice. He asked what had happened. Let me say, Pastor Oby has a calming tone. His anointing is what punches you in your face. I told him everything that happened and then I said, “I am done. I am out of here. I do not want this man or marriage.” Pastor Oby listened. The phone was silent for a long five seconds, then he said, “Then why did you call me? I serve a God who can restore people and relationships. If you have your mind made up and you know what you want to do, then do it. But why did you call me?” At that point, I had to make the decision to allow God to restore my marriage. Pastor Oby counseled, prayed, and fed us for over a year, and he continues to do so. Our marriage has been restored to stronger and better. I am forever grateful for Pastor’s heart to serve and continue to pour into our lives.

When I first walked into the church on January 1st 2023, I was in a very dark place in my life. I had just got out of a bad relationship, etc. I struggled with anxiety and depression just trying to carry the load all on my own. I smoked weed pretty much all day everyday so I could avoid those feelings and reality in general. Long story short, from the moment I walked In the church I experienced God’s love and most of all I felt the presence of God throughout the whole service. It kept bringing me back and since then I've been locked in with the ministry. Everyone there has been extremely supportive with open arms, words of encouragement, resources, and more. I thank God everyday. It really is A Life Giving Church!
